Bentwood Olive Grove Cafe & Accommodation

Come and visit us on the fertile and historic Greenough flats.

The farm grows predominantly olives with a small section of wines grapes (not yet producing).
The Mediterranean climate of the Midwest region of Western Australia lends itself perfectly to growing olives with the end result a superior olive oil. There are approximately 2600 olive trees, namely Frantoio, New Norcia Mission and Barnea grown on the 100 acre property. Flowers start to appear as early as August and fruit starts to appear by October. Harvesting at Bentwood takes place from about Easter on. For harvesting our fruit we use a harvesting attachment that fits on our Bobcat and allows us to remove the fruit freely without complications. The fresh olive oil is available for tasting and purchase and is the basis for the gorgeous gourmet foods on offer. Visitors can stroll among the olive trees, relax on the shaded lawns, enjoy a cosy courtyard cappuccino, all part of the wonderful Mediterranean atmosphere.
